Clients prefer you don't stop thier machine, here is an easy paper based templating method that you can use to get accurate dimensions for the replacement part. It minimises downtime while getting better results than if you were to measure the dimensions by hand on site.

A dual piston filler kept underfilling and eventually seized. We traced it to a V-seal design flaw and a chemical compatibility issue — neither had anything to do with the electronics.
